【摘要】:1.1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheindentationhardnessofplasticsandebonitebymeansofdurometersoftwotypes:typeAisusedforsoftermaterialsandtypeDforhardermaterials(seetheNoteto8.2).Themethodpermitsmeasurementeitheroftheinitialindentationoroftheindentationafteraspecifiedperiodoftime,orboth.NOTEThedurometersandthemethodsspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardarereferredtoastypeAShoreandtypeDShoredurometersanddurometermethods,respectively.1.2Thismethodisanempiricalmethodintendedprimarilyforcontrolpurposes.Nosimplerelationshipexistsbetweenindentationhardnessdeterminedbythismethodandanyfundamentalpropertyofthematerialtested.Forspecificationpurposes,itisrecommendedthatISO48,Rubber,vulcanizedorthermoplastic—Determinationofhardness(hardnessbetween10IRHDand100IRHD),beusedforthesoftermaterials.
