【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversaqueousdispersionsofpolytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)resins.Theseresinsarehomopolymersoftetrafluoroethylene,orinsomecasesmodifiedhomopolymerscontainingnotmorethan1%byweightofotherfluoromonomers.1.1.1Thedispersionisusuallystabilizedbyoneormoresurfactants.Othernon-PTFEmaterialsmaybepresentintotalat5%orlessbyweightforspecialpurposes.1.1.2Thisspecificationisforvirginmaterialonlyanddoesnotaddressrecycledmaterialasitisnotappropriatefordispersions.1.2Thisspecificationisusedtodetermineifashipment,lot,orcontainerofPTFEdispersionissuitableforitsintendeduse.Itcoversonlyaqueousdispersionsofpolytetrafluoroethylene.ItdoesnotcoverPTFEcopolymersorfilleddispersions.ThisspecificationincludestestmethodsforbothaqueousdispersionandthePTFEinthedispersion.Note18212;UsesforthePTFEdispersioncoveredbythisspecificationinclude,butarenotlimitedto,castingoftheirfilms,impregnationofmechanicalpackingsandothermaterials,surfacecoatingsonvarioussubstrates,combinedimpregnationandcoatingoffibrousmaterials,andco-coagulationwithothermaterialsforsubsequentprocessingintofilms,sheets,rods,andtubes.Note28212;InformationinthisspecificationistechnicallyequivalenttorelatedinformationinISO12086-1andISO12086-2.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsasdetailedinIEEE/ASTMSI-10aretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionsofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionaryinformationisgiveninNotes5and6.
