【摘要】:Thegaschromatographicdeterminationoftheboilingpointdistributionofhydrocarbonsolventscanbeusedasanalternativetoconventionaldistillationmethodsforcontrolofsolventsqualityduringmanufacture,andspecificationtesting.Boilingpointdistributiondatacanbeusedtomonitorthepresenceofproductcontaminantsandcompositionalvariationduringthemanufactureofhydrocarbonsolvents.BoilingpointdistributiondataobtainedbythistestmethodarenotequivalenttothoseobtainedbyTestMethodsD86,D850,D1078,D2887,D2892,andD3710.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingpointdistributionofhydrocarbonsolventsbycapillarygaschromatography.Thistestmethodislimitedtosampleshavingaminimuminitialboilingpointof37x00B0;C(99x00B0;F),amaximumfinalboilingpointof285x00B0;C(545x00B0;F),andaboilingrangeof5to150x00B0;C(9to270x00B0;F)asmeasuredbythistestmethod.1.2Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedorcalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoffx201C;tothenearestunitx201D;inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsarestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
